Medhavi Skills University (MSU) is a State University established with the passage of the Medhavi Skills University, Sikkim Act, 2021 and has been included in the UGC list of universities established as per Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. Medhavi Skills University (MSU) has become the leading Skills University in the Eastern and North Eastern region of India and is pioneering in the convergence of the skilling ecosystem with higher education, in line with the NEP2020. MSU (Sikkim), as a state university, was established with the passage of an Act in the Sikkim State Legislative Assembly in 2021 and is a UGC recognized. MSU is the first of its kind pioneering university model, where corporates/industries are the stakeholders and influencers in curriculum design, programme delivery, practical skills training, on-job-training, apprenticeship, etc.
